Winter Class Information

Winter classes will launch on Tuesday, December 7th at NOON.

Registration Day
Classes are sold exclusively through our website,  Classes sell out very quickly, some within minutes, so it is important to visit the site as close to noon as possible on December 7th. We know that it can be very challenging to register given the amount of traffic on our website. *Please note that there is a purchase limit of 4 spots in a given class per person. Unfortunately, due to technical limitations, classes are not held for you in your cart, so checking out quickly is the best way to secure tickets.

It is the student's responsibility to remember the date and time of the class they are registered in, and no credit will be issued should they fail to attend for that reason. This is a strict policy and no exceptions will be made.

What if I make a mistake when registering?
On release day, if you need to make changes to your registration or cancel your purchase, please email us at or give us a call at (780) 758-1162 and we will try to remedy the situation as quickly as possible.

Redeeming a Class Credit
Duchess Atelier now has a brand-new website! If you are holding on to a class credit from Duchess Bake Shop in the form of a digital gift card that you would like to redeem, please email us at so we can issue you a NEW credit to use on our new website. Unfortunately, digital credits issued from the Duchess Bake Shop website will not work on our new website. If you run into any issues on launch day, we ask that you pay for the class, and we can issue you a refund after for the amount of credit you still had outstanding.

Can children take classes?
At this time we do not offer classes specifically geared towards children. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (1 adult per child), and we generally recommend a minimum age of 10 years old for even our simplest classes. Adults who attend with their children must also register in the class. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us.

What if I don’t get into a class?
Because we often have cancellations, getting on the WAITLIST is a great way to get into a class if you weren’t able to on launch day. Visit to join the waitlist. We release a new schedule of classes every 2-3 months and will be running these classes again in the spring, so there will be many opportunities to register in the future!

Be Kind Policy
Due to the speed at which our classes sell out and the number of people trying to register, class launch days can be stressful for everyone. We know that there can be frustration at not being able to register in a class you wanted, and if you’re contacting us by email or phone, we ask that you remain kind and respectful towards our staff. Verbal abuse and comments that are disrespectful, hateful, or incendiary will not be tolerated. We want our space and classroom to be one of kindness, openness, and inclusivity. If we feel a potential student has not treated our staff in this way, we reserve the right to refuse registration or cancel an existing registration at our discretion.
