Jam and Marmalade Workshop

Join Master Preserver Camilla Wynne of the Preservation Society and author of 'Jam Bake: Inspired Recipes for Creating and Baking with Preserves' for a preserving workshop focused on holiday gifts! In this workshop we will discuss the science of safe canning, and how to make the best seasonal preserves (using less sugar and little or no pectin). Camilla will expertly demonstrate how to prepare one seasonal jam recipe and one marmalade recipe. You will leave the class with a jar of each preserve (aka stocking stuffers) plus a bonus candied peel recipe, ready to tackle any jam-making project, and able to safely and creatively concoct your very own recipes.

  • Class purchases are non-refundable. You may cancel your registration in a class up to 48 hours in advance and credit will be issued towards another class.
  • This workshop is demo-style so tickets are sold per person.
  • Classes may run ~15 minutes over or under the allotted time.
  • 10 years old is the minimum age for children attending classes, and all kids under the age of 16 must be registered with an adult.
  • There is a limit of 4 tickets per person in a given class with no exceptions.
