Marzipan Fruit Workshop

Join Master Preserver, Camilla Wynne, pastry chef and author of 'Jam Bake: Inspired Recipes for Creating and Baking with Preserves'and make your own marzipan then fashion it into delightful, delicious shapes!

This workshop will kick off with making a batch of boiled marzipan-- easier to work with and more delicious than store-bought (although you can use store-bought!). We will talk flavoring, dealing with boiling sugar and troubleshooting.

Then the fruity fun will begin! Camilla will demo shaping and colouring various fruit and vegetables using households items as tools and all manner of colorings. It's time to really access the joy you found making fimo as a child.

  • Class purchases are non-refundable. You may cancel your registration in a class up to 48 hours in advance and credit will be issued towards another class.
  • Classes may run ~15 minutes over or under the allotted time.
  • 10 years old is the minimum age for children attending classes, and all kids under the age of 16 must be registered with an adult.
  • There is a limit of 4 tickets per person in a given class with no exceptions.
