Payment in full is required at the time of registration. We do not offer refunds on classes. You may cancel your registration in a class up to 48 hours in advance and credit will be issued towards another class. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, or fail to attend a class, there will be no credit issued, and no make-up class offered. Tickets are fully transferable, and we are always happy to welcome a friend or family member in your place. For private bookings (buyout) you may cancel the class up to 14 days in advance and a credit will be issued. If cancelled within 14 days, there will be no credit issued or rescheduled class offered.
To meet the demand for our regular classes, at this time we have limited availability for private bookings. If you’re hoping to attend with friends, please note that we limit the purchase of tickets in a regular class to 4 per person. This ensures that lots of people get the opportunity to register in our classes and allows for a dynamic class setting.
We will no longer be sending reminder emails for your class one week prior to your scheduled class. It is your responsibility to remember the date and time of the class you are registered in, and no credit will be issued should you fail to attend for that reason. This is a strict policy, and no exceptions will be made. If you’re not sure when your class is, please contact us at info@duchessatelier.com and we can look it up for you.
At this time we do not offer classes that are specifically geared towards children. All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult (one adult per child), and apart from our Cookie Decorating classes, we suggest a minimum age of 10 years old for even our simplest classes. Adults attending with their children must also register in the class (each person needs their own ticket).
Due to the speed at which our classes sell out and the number of people trying to register, class launch days can be stressful for everyone. We know that there can be frustration at not being able to register in a class you wanted, and if you’re contacting us by email or phone, we ask that you remain kind and respectful towards our staff. Verbal abuse and comments that are disrespectful, hateful, or incendiary will not be tolerated.
We want our space and classroom to be one of kindness, openness, and inclusivity. If we feel a potential student has not treated our staff in this way, we reserve the right to refuse registration or cancel an existing registration at our discretion.
