Payment in full is required at the time of registration. We do not offer refunds on classes. You may cancel your registration in a class up to 48 hours in advance and credit will be issued towards another class. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, or fail to attend a class, there will be no credit issued, and no make-up class offered. Tickets are fully transferable, and we are always happy to welcome a friend or family member in your place.
To meet the demand for our regular classes, at this time we do not accept any private or group bookings. If you’re hoping to attend with friends, please note that we limit the purchase of tickets in a given class to 4 per person. This ensures that lots of people get the opportunity to register in our classes and allows for a dynamic class setting.
It is your responsibility to remember the date and time of the class you are registered in, and no credit will be issued should you fail to attend for that reason. This is a strict policy, and no exceptions will be made. If you’re not sure when your class is, please contact us at email@example.com and we can look it up for you.
At this time we do not offer classes that are specifically geared towards children. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (one adult per child), and we generally recommend a minimum age of 10 years old for even our simplest classes. Adults attending with their children must also register in the class (each person needs their own ticket).
Effective September 20, 2021, Duchess Atelier will be participating in the Restriction Exemption Program as required by the Government of Alberta. Proof of vaccination or a negative rapid test will be required for students to participate in our classes.
A friendly reminder that as per city by-law, masks are mandatory and to be worn throughout the duration of the class. If you come with a face shield or plastic visor, you will still be required to wear a mask underneath.
Please do not attend class if you or anyone in your party are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19, other than those that you would normally due to allergies or pre-existing health conditions. COVID-19 symptoms include
: fever, shortness of breath, loss of sense of taste and smell, dry cough or sore throat. For the comfort and safety of our students and staff, we strongly encourage you to wear a mask during class.
Due to the speed at which our classes sell out and the number of people trying to register, class launch days can be stressful for everyone. We know that there can be frustration at not being able to register in a class you wanted, and if you’re contacting us by email or phone, we ask that you remain kind and respectful towards our staff. Verbal abuse and comments that are disrespectful, hateful, or incendiary will not be tolerated.
We want our space and classroom to be one of kindness, openness, and inclusivity. If we feel a potential student has not treated our staff in this way, we reserve the right to refuse registration or cancel an existing registration at our discretion.
