French Canadian Winter

Celebrate the warmth and comfort of a French Canadian winter through a menu of rustic, time-honoured favourites. In this class, you’ll prepare a traditional Tourtière—flaky pastry filled with spiced meat—accompanied by a bright, tangy fruit ketchup made from seasonal ingredients. To finish, we’ll create a classic Québécois dessert, Pouding Chômeur, a rich “poor man’s pudding” baked in maple syrup and cream.

This class blends nostalgic flavour with refined technique, offering a delicious glimpse into the heart of French Canadian winter cooking.
